I’ve finally taken the plunge and set up a totally self hosted site for Specialeetees!
 

This is one of those thoughts that’s been niggling away at me for some time. First I dismissed it out of hand because of the time factor, but I came to realise that I was working on the net in so many different places and trying to tie them all in together aesthetically, that in itself was eating away at my time. Secondly I got to thinking can I actually do this? Then I thought WTH, there’s only one way to find out…and I took the plunge! The new baby was born and if you’re here reading this then you’re on it. Both specialeetees.com and specialeetees.co.uk lead to this domain.

I decided to run my main site from a .co.uk domain because well, I’m British. I’m also hosting it with a fine British hosting company, so far totally impressive service

There’s still a few bits n’ pieces scattered about to move here, but after three days work I’m so pleased with the way the site has come together with only minor hiccups along the way. This site will allow me to show and do so much more, and most importantly do it in an efficient way too, leaving me extra time for my designing

As you’re here I really hope you’ll take the time to have a poke around in the corners because there’s already so much more than just a one page blog, there’s some little gems tucked away, with lots more to follow!

At 3am it’s time I got some sleep, but at least I’ll sleep well knowing I’ve got this far.
